María Fernandez La Perrata - Pañuelo decorado

Scarf belonging to one of the great muses of flamenco, María la Perrata. This simple garment, worn by her in various performances, was a gift from her daughter to embellish on the outside the immense creativity of her inner art. Her daughter, Tere Peña, relates how in the intimacy of her home she hummed the lyrics of her song: "dónde vas hungarilla valiente, con el banderín en la mano..." (where are you going brave little Hungarian girl, with the pennant in your hand...).

Foulard ayant appartenu à l’une des grandes muses du flamenco, María La Perrata. Cet accessoire tout simple qu’elle a porté dans plusieurs performances était un cadeau de sa fille pour orner l’immense créativité de son art. Et sa fille Tere Peña raconte que, dans l’intimité du foyer, pour s'amuser, elle fredonnait les paroles de sa chanson : « dónde vas hungarilla valiente, con el banderín en la mano… » (où vas-tu, petite hongroise courageuse, le fanion à la main...)
