Inside me, constantly effervescing is the heritage of an extraordinary musical legacy which comes to me through many previous generations. In such a way that, much like another link in this long chain of tradition, from my mother's womb, I was born, raised and have lived “flamenco” all my life.

Looking back in time and seeing the road travelled, all that has been achieved, how far we have come... the more I reiterate the vital importance that the Casas Cantaoras Gitanas have contributed, continue to contribute and will contribute which are still preserved in Lebrija, where these flamenco singers continue to pass on the folk songs (forms and ways), from grandparents to grandchildren, from parents to children etc., an inheritance passed on as part of a personal and natural legacy which goes much further than just stepping onto a stage.

Dans mon cœur rayonne toujours l’héritage d’un patrimoine musical insolite
issu de nombreuses générations dans le passé. Ainsi, comme un chaînon de plus de cette longue chaîne de tradition, dès le sein de ma mère, je suis né, j’ai grandi et j’ai vécu comme un « flamenco » tout au long de mon existence.

En revenant en arrière dans le temps et en observant le chemin parcouru, tous les progrès, là où l’on est arrivé... je ne peux que réaffirmer l’importance vitale passée, présente et future des Casas Cantaoras Gitanas (maisons de chanteuses gitanes) encore conservées à Lebrija, où l’on transmet toujours les chants (modes et formes), de grand-père à petit-fils, de père à fils, etc., un héritage transmis dans le cadre d’un patrimoine personnel et naturel qui est bien plus qu’une simple représentation sur scène.
